Channelled Samhain Message From Spirit

This post was channelled from my guides using an intuitive process called automatic writing, in which one clears their mind and removes their human self from the process, allowing the natural flow of pen to paper (or hands to keys).

What is spirit? It’s the souls of loved ones passed. It’s the mystery that lies in the unseen essence of the air we breathe. What we can sense but not see or feel—at least not in the traditional human way. 

“Spirit” and its existence is a concept that makes more sense the more you let go of expectations, limitations and restrictions in your ways of thinking. The more you open your mind and your eyes (your third eye especially) to what the human mind alone cannot perceive.

Belief in spirit does not come from the brain—at least not at first. Belief lies in the heart. Then the brain will eventually ground the belief in logic. A closed heart struggles to believe in the possibility of spirit existing beyond human life. For allowing this belief alters how one sees the world. It simultaneously simplifies and complicates it. It adds a layer of emotional depth that can be overwhelming, though deeply enriching, to any human soul.

A human bound by their own limitations will say that it’s wrong to believe, or that it’s wrong not to believe. The thing with spirit is that on the other side souls find peace, understanding, compassion and wisdom beyond what would ever be possible in human form. They find a form of enlightenment that releases all judgement of choices, beliefs and behaviours, of themselves and others. 

This does not mean that spirit won’t try to steer humans in the right direction, though some humans are highly resistant to this encouragement (you know who you are). Spirit can be serious, but can also be playful and lighthearted. Signs and messages might arrive in the form of little jokes and jabs. Ultimately, however, it always comes from a place of pure love. Spirit wants to show up for you, to support you and work with you on co-creating the most incredible life you can dream of. 

Did you know that if you have an idea, a goal or a dream, so long as it comes from the portal of the heart, it has been implanted in you because it is already yours?

Humans tend to doubt or deny the possibility of these dreams. That’s alright, it’s part of the human experience, learning to trust. We acknowledge that it’s challenging and uncomfortable at first. Doubting or denying yourself of your dreams only makes the terrain on your path rougher, delaying the time it takes to get there and risking blowing a tire. But eventually you arrive.

Or, you can choose to believe—in spirit and in your dreams—to trust, and to surrender to the forces greater than you that are always seeking the best possible path for you.
