About Erin

From a young age I always believed there was more to life than what meets the eye, that we have the ability to rise above our everyday human problems to see the bigger picture, and that we each have an inherent ability to shape our own realities for the better.

This belief system has been the foundation of building a life for myself that feels more and more authentic, creative, magical and aligned with my soul essence and purpose.

I have been drawn to the spiritual world from a young age. And by spiritual, I mean the world of spirit—our loved ones continuing to exist after death in a form that we simply can’t see, hear or feel in our humanness as we know it. As my relationship with spirit has developed over the years, that has expanded to my belief in spirit guides, animals, and even deities!

Feeling the presence and guidance of spirit on all levels has always brought me great comfort, inspiration and motivation. It reminds me that I am not here to offer my gifts to the world just for the benefit of myself and those that I directly serve, but for the greater collective consciousness as well, so that we can all move forward in a more positive vibration.

Creativity in an artistic sense is a gift that has come easily to me since I was little. I’m so grateful for the ability to have a vision in my mind and to be able to express it in a physical form—something that I know many people struggle with.*

*As a side note, it’s my personal belief that everything can be learned with patience, dedication and a belief in anything being possible, so if you have always wanted to learn how to paint but just keep telling yourself that you aren’t gifted that way, stop! Practice, practice, practice.

I believe that my vivid inner landscape and ability to produce strong visualizations was the bridge to discovering my clairvoyance, which is the ability to see what our normal human senses typically cannot.

For me, it’s not that I see spirits walking around right in front of me (but I have also set a boundary with spirit to not do that because I jump scare way too easily), however I see spirit and the visuals that they communicate to me through my third eye, almost as if watching a movie or a memory in my mind.

Since learning to tap into my clairvoyance, I have also developed clairsentience (clear feeling), claircognizance (clear knowing), and clairintellect (clear thinking). I’m currently working on clairtangency (sensing things through touching an object that belonged to someone), and clairaudience (hearing messages or sounds). I also learned that I have always had strong clairempathy, the ability to deeply sense the emotions of others.

Developing my mediumship abilities led me to the practice of deciphering oracle and tarot cards. While I enjoy other methods of divination as well, such as tea leaf and penduum reading, cards are my absolute favourite because they bridge my love of art and design with my my spiritual connection! As a visual learner, I also appreciate the way oracle and tarot cards tell a story.

This interest in cards and my ever-growing collection is what inspired me to create my own deck, Blooming Spirit Oracle, which was originally created for my mom as a Mother’s Day gift but grew into something bigger.

As a Sagittarius sun sign, the fire in me makes it very easy to live more on the side of the divine masculine energy. Leaning into my divine feminine comes much less naturally and has been a lesson that spirit has led me to learn for my own benefit and progress as a human. As much as I want to resist it, any time I have listened to the guidance and—forcibly—relaxed into my divine feminine to bring greater energetic balance, amazing things have come from it. One of those things was Blooming Spirit Oracle!

I had started a new daily practice of asking myself “What do I want to create today?”, removing self-imposed restraints, limitations and “shoulds,” instead allowing my creativity and energy to flow from my heart space without expectation or attachment to the outcome. One day when I asked myself this question, the thought popped in my head that Mother’s Day was approaching and that I wanted to make my mom an oracle deck of flowers since she loves to garden.

This is just one of many amazing things that have been born out of my divine feminine energy, and has fuelled a passion within me for teaching others to tap into this energy too, especially in our current world that celebrates achievement, progress, hustle culture and constant productivity. Our divine masculine is in overdrive, which can lead to burnout, physical and mental health problems, and can just suck the joy out of living.

This is just a little backstory into what has led me to the path I’m on right now and where it intersects with beautiful YOU.
